Become a Volunteer
The Kansas Kids Closet Consignment Sale offers great incentives for volunteers – and a wide variety of times for moms to participate! You can choose to consign and volunteer, or you can volunteer without bringing in a single item to sell.
  
Volunteers shop before the public! A small investment of your time gets you in to shop early during the volunteer presale.
  
Volunteer Times

Thursday, August 5th

  • 9am to 12pm - Drop-off (inspect items, check-in consignors and help with organization)
  • 12pm to 3pm - Drop-off (inspect items, check-in consignors and help with organization)
  • 3pm to 6pm - Drop-off (inspect items, check-in consignors and help with organization)
  • 7pm to 9pm - Pre-Sale (Admission at the door, check out customers, remove tags, and other misc. help)

    Friday, August 6th
  • 8am - 11am - Open to the Public (Check out customers, remove tags, and other misc. help)
  • 11am - 2pm - Open to the Public (Check out customers, remove tags, and other misc. help)
  • 2pm - 5pm - Open to the Public (Check out customers, remove tags, and other misc. help)
  • 5pm - 8pm - Open to the Public (Check out customers, remove tags, and other misc. help)

    Saturday, August 7th
  • 8am - 11am - 1/2 Price Sale (Check out customers, remove tags, and other misc. help)
  • 11am - 2pm - Public 1/2 Price Sale (Check out customers, remove tags, and other misc. help)
  • 2pm - 5pm - Sorting (Sort all merchandise that will be picked-up by consignors)

  • Pre-sale passes may be picked up during check-in times for any volunteers (if you consign you will receive your passes when you drop-off your items).
  • Each person must have a pass in order to enter the Pre-Sale.
  • We ask that volunteers arrive 10 minutes before their shift begins.
  • We apologize, but children will not be allowed when you are volunteering at the sale.

    Volunteer No-Show Penalty
    We understand that sometimes unexpected mishaps will not allow you to work the shift you signed up for. However, if you are scheduled to volunteer and do not show for your shift, your consigning percentage that you will receive will drop to 40% (you will receive only 40% of your sales instead of 70%). If you are a non-consigning volunteer, you will not be allowed to volunteer or consign at the next sale.

    If you have experienced an emergency that makes you unable to volunteer your shift, please call Amber at (620) 899-5526. Please, DO NOT call if it is not an emergency. It is your responsibility to find a replacement to work your shift if you are not able to come for non-emergency reasons.
